A Soul-Guided Journey into the Fertile Dark

We are upon the Wheel of the Year when the gates between the worlds begin to open, the voices beneath the surface grow louder, and the soul is summoned away from the bright distractions of the outer world and back into the ancient chambers of the Mystery.
Samhain is a threshold between the worlds.
It is the sacred passage into the In Between Time, when the Veils between the seen and unseen realms grow thin, the seeds from the Final Harvest are gathered, and we are invited to enter the Fertile Dark where death becomes the compost for rebirth. In this liminal territory of the Mystery, ancestral wisdom becomes spiritual inheritanc, and what has remained hidden within us may finally rise to be witnessed, honored, and transformed.

At this cosmic crossroads, the Samhain descent is magnified by the Venusian journey through the Underworld. As Venus retrogrades through Scorpio and returns into Libra on October 26, we are invited into an alchemical passage through desire, relationship, intimacy, power, worth, shadow, and Truth. Scorpio draws us beneath appearances and into the places where our deepest desires and buried knowing have been waiting beneath the surface, while Libra carries the remembrance of sacred equilibrium, right relationship, harmony, and the restoration of balance.
Yet harmony born from the Mysteries asks something deeper of us than keeping the peace.
We must first become willing to meet what has been hidden, denied and ostracized.
And so the Dark Queen beckons...
She calls us to descend beneath the surface world and into the ancient subterranean sanctuary of the Black Velvet Void ~ the Womb Dreaming Chamber where the noise of the outer world falls away and outdated identities, expectations, agreements, and masks we have outgrown may finally be surrendered. Here, within the fertile darkness, we are invited to encounter the Shadow Queen within ourselves and listen for the Truth that could never be heard while we were striving to remain acceptable, pleasing, safe, or known.
The Dark Queen carries the medicine of radical self-reclamation.
She knows where we have abandoned our desires, relinquished our authority, silenced our Truth, hidden our power, or exiled pieces of ourselves into shadow. She does not ask us to fear these hidden chambers. She invites us to descend into them as sacred territory, because within the shadows we have feared may lie precisely the power, instinct, wisdom, and sovereignty our soul has been waiting for us to reclaim.

An Immram is a Celtic shamanic soul-journey meditation ~ an intentional voyage beyond the familiar shores of ordinary consciousness and into the mythopoetic realms of the Otherworld, where the landscapes, mythic beings, symbols, and encounters we experience become living mirrors of our inner psyche and soul.
The Otherworld is an imaginal dimension of Mystery that asks us to return to an ancient way of perceiving, awakening our symbolic and mythic awareness and entering a shifted state of dreaming consciousness where the deeper intelligence of the soul can speak beyond the limitations of the rational mind.
Here you enter into a mysterious threshold that may illuminate an emergent territory beginning to unfold within our lives. Samhain is an especially potent portal for going on Immram. As the Veils between the seen and unseen worlds grow thin, we are invited to cross consciously into these visionary realms and receive the symbolic wisdom, archetypal messages, ancestral remembrance, and soul-guided insights waiting beneath the surface of ordinary awareness.
Through the Immram, we journey into the Otherworld so that its enchanted mirror may reveal what our soul already knows ~ returning from the Dreaming Realms carries a deeper remembrance of who we are, what is transforming within us, and what Mystery is asking us to become.
During our Samhain Immram, we will voyage together into the deep dreaming currents of the Fertile Dark through an Immram ~ a soul-guided mythopoetic meditation journey.
Within this sacred dreaming chamber, we will cross the threshold into the Velvet Void and meet the places within ourselves asking to be composted. We will listen for the wisdom hidden beneath our shadows and encounter the Dark Queen as an initiatory presence who reveals what is ready to die, what is ready to be reclaimed, and what is finally ready to become sovereign.
Together we will create a living Round Table of remembrance through Immram, meditation, story, reflection, sacred council, and sisterhood, allowing the personal descent to become part of a greater collective alchemy.
But know this, the throne awaiting you within the Underworld is no ordinary throne.
It is the Obsidian Throne ~ black, reflective, volcanic, forged within the dragon fires beneath the Earth. It symbolizes the spiritual authority that emerges when we become willing to look into the dark mirror and remain present with what we see. To claim this throne is to gather home the fragments of ourselves we once believed had to remain hidden and allow their wisdom to become part of the sovereign wholeness of who we are becoming.
As Venus eventually carries her Underworld revelations back toward Libra, we begin the return journey carrying a different understanding of harmony. Balance becomes something forged through Truth. Relationships become a sacred meeting between sovereign beings. And beauty becomes the natural coherence that arises when the inner Queen no longer abandons herself.
We descend to the Dark Queen.
We enter the Velvet Void.
We reclaim our sovereignty that was once hidden.
And we rise back up toward life carrying Truth restored.
I invite you to gather with us at this Samhain threshold as we enter the portal of the In Between Time, honor the Final Harvest, commune with the wisdom of those who have crossed before us, and consciously compost what has completed its season within our lives.
Bring your shadows. Bring your questions. Bring the desires you have been afraid to name and the Truth that has been whispering beneath the surface.
The Dark Queen is waiting within Her dreaming chamber.
And somewhere within the Velvet Void, there is an Obsidian Throne bearing the imprint of your soul.
